Villa Cavalletti shared its story, beginning with the land itself: from the vineyards that have been restored and cultivated using organic methods to the estate\u2019s olive groves, and on to the contemporary restoration of the historic complex. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two representative products from the Tierre Organic Farm were presented at the tasting: <strong>Tusculum \u2013 Olio di Roma IGP<\/strong>, a certified olive oil from Villa Cavalletti, and <strong>Roma DOC Riserva<\/strong>, a red wine from the estate\u2019s historic vineyard. These two products showcase the characteristics of the volcanic soil of the Colli Albani and reflect a commitment to reinterpreting the area\u2019s ancient agricultural heritage in a contemporary way. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Villa Cavalletti\u2019s participation in Vinitaly went beyond just wine tastings. It took center stage at the talk titled \u201cA Grand Tour Destination and a Rustic Roman Villa,\u201d which explored wine as a cultural vehicle for reviving the experience of <strong>Italian cuisine<\/strong> \u2014recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The narrative linked the estate\u2019s origins, the ideal of <em>the locus amoenus<\/em>, the passage of Grand Tour travelers, and the winemaking tradition of the Castelli Romani. From this perspective, wine is not merely a beverage, but a means of discovering the landscape, agricultural practices, and Italy\u2019s culture of conviviality. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday, April 14, at 10 a.m., Villa Cavalletti also participated in<strong>the \u201cGrapes of Change\u201d<\/strong>themed tasting. The title highlights the wine industry\u2019s ability to evolve through sustainability, research, collaboration, and new ways of telling the story of the region. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Villa Cavalletti, Vinitaly 2026 was an important opportunity to meet with industry representatives, producers, and professionals from around the world.
