Villa Cavalletti is participating in the second edition of “Castelli in Fermento,” scheduled for September 23–27, 2026, at Piazzale San Nilo in Grottaferrata

Villa Cavalletti will also be participating in Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026, scheduled for September 24–27 in the squares of Turin’s historic center.
The estate will participate in the area dedicated to the Slow Food Presidia of Lazio, along Via Roma, bringing to Turin one of the region’s olive-growing treasures: its heritage of centuries-old olive trees, an authentic expression of the agricultural landscape and biodiversity of the Castelli Romani.
Organized by Slow Food, the event brings together more than 600 producers from Italy and around the world, along with chefs, artisans, scholars, and communities committed to building more sustainable food systems.
The 16th edition, dedicated to the theme “Be Diversity,” focuses on biodiversity—understood not only as a natural resource but also as an expression of the cultures, knowledge, and communities that safeguard these territories.
The program includes more than 800 events, including conferences, meetings, Taste Workshops, tastings, and experiences dedicated to Italian and international products: a grand journey through food that brings together quality, environmental protection, local identities, and a culture of peace.
Villa Cavalletti’s participation, as a member of the Slow Food Presidium for the Ancient Olive Trees of Lazio, reflects a deep connection to the volcanic landscape of the Castelli Romani. Its monumental olive grove, composed of centuries-old trees, represents an agricultural, historical, and environmental heritage preserved through practices focused on sustainability and the promotion of local traditions.
Terra Madre will thus be an important opportunity to raise awareness of this heritage and to share with producers and communities from around the world an agricultural model based on biodiversity, the protection of the land, and the quality of produce.
