5 Days Dedicated to the Castelli Romani
Villa Cavalletti is participating in the second edition of “Castelli in Fermento,” scheduled for September 23–27, 2026, at Piazzale San Nilo in Grottaferrata
For five days, the city center will host tastings, gourmet cuisine, master classes, music, art, and cultural events, with the aim of showcasing the local products and traditions of the Castelli Romani.
The booths will be open every day from 3:00 p.m. to midnight, while on Sunday, September 27, they are scheduled to open at 11:00 a.m. The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 23, at 5:00 p.m., followed by the events “Modello Lazio,” “Le Zuppe Vulcaniche,” and “Armonie del territorio – Le cripte grottaferratesi.”
Among the events dedicated to food and wine are the masterclasses organized by FISAR Roma and Castelli Romani: on Friday, September 25, “Land and Flavor: A Journey Through Local Food and Wine,” and on Saturday, September 26, “The Flavors of the Castelli: Wines, Flavors, and Traditions.” On Sunday, the 27th, Francesco Radiciotti’s book on the world of sparkling wines will be presented.
Music will be a part of every day, featuring Ginevra Morsilli’s traveling violin and evening performances by the Max Mania Tribute Band 883, Ladri di Carrozzelle, 90’ Mania, Dargen D’Amico, and Orchestraccia. The program will also feature works by artist Iryna Zyza, authors from the International Book Festival, and activities for families.
Villa Cavalletti will be showcasing its wines, which reflect the historic vineyard, agricultural tradition, and volcanic landscape of the Castelli Romani. An opportunity to share a vision in which wine, culture, and the local area come together as part of a single experience.
We look forward to seeing you in Grottaferrata to discover and taste Villa Cavalletti in the heart of the Castelli Romani.
