Villa Cavalletti and the Accademia dell’Olio

Villa Cavalletti will participate in the Accademia dell’Olio, scheduled to take place next year as part of the 2026 Fiera dei Sapori d’Italia, hosted at the Parco Monumentale di Villa Torlonia in Frascati.
The event, scheduled for September 17 through October 4, offers a journey through the finest Italian food and wine, featuring talks, tastings, and initiatives dedicated to food culture and the promotion of local regions.

Curated by Simona Cognoli – Oleonauta, the Accademia dell’Olio will feature ten selected producers, offering the public the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of extra virgin olive oil and learn how to recognize its quality, characteristics, and connection to the local territory.

Among the featured oils will be Olio et Amo, a product of Villa Cavalletti’s monumental olive grove and the volcanic landscape of the Castelli Romani. An olive oil that reflects the estate’s biodiversity, the local olive-growing tradition, and a production model based on environmental protection and quality.

This event holds special significance because it takes place at the start of the new harvest season: an ideal time to promote more informed choices about olive oil and introduce the public to the culture of extra virgin olive oil.
